WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team fell to Saint Thomas (Fla.), 7-6, in its season opener at Cumberlands (Ky.) on Thursday.

Danielle Turner had two goals and one assist while Grace Holland finished with two goals for the Saints (0-1). Avah Holland added a goal and an assist. Jenna Allie had one goal and Megan Gibbs made an assist.

Gibbs also controlled four draws and Audrey Scott totaled four groundballs. Lauren Thomas caused three turnovers.

In goal, Brooke Burchfield had seven saves.
