RU WVB Remains Undefeated with SWEEP VS. Union Bulldogs

Waleska, GA - In a dominant showing at their home court in Waleska, the Reinhardt University Eagles volleyball team continued their undefeated streak in the AAC with a clean sweep against the Union Commonwealth Bulldogs on October 18, 2024. The final score of 3-0 in sets underscores the Eagles' solid performance throughout the match.

The Eagles set the tone early, taking the first set 25-18, propelled by standout player Jenna Smith's dynamic play, which included a 6-point service run featuring critical aces and kills. The momentum continued in the second set with a win of 25-20, as the team maintained pressure and efficient gameplay. The third set mirrored the first's intensity, ending with a score of 25-18, effectively sealing the match in Reinhardt's favor.

Jenna Smith, named player of the match, led the team with 15 kills and contributed significantly on defense with 8 digs and 3 aces. Juliette Baffico also made notable contributions with 11 kills, and the defensive efforts were bolstered by Silvia Aguado, who led with 18 digs.
