
ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team celebrated Senior Night with a 3-0 sweep of WHAC opponent Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday at the SHU Fieldhouse. Set scores were 25-20, 25-17, 25-16.
Kei Sullivan and Emalee Maesch finished with 10 kills apiece while Devyne Eisenhauer and Olivia Norman added nine apiece. Eisenhauer made 16 digs and Maesch had 14. Norman totaled three blocks.
Also for SHU (21-5, 14-3), Aubrey Bates had 31 assists. Melina Hanes compiled 20 digs and five aces.
The opening set featured seven ties before SHU pushed past the Racers (18-17, 9-8) with a 9-2 run.
Trailing 6-3 in the second, the Saints ran past the visitors, dominating the remainder of the set. SHU had 4-, 5- and 7-point runs.
Siena Heights fell behind 11-10 in the third before taking the lead for good with a 4-point surge. It added a 6-point run later in the set.
The Saints will wrap up their regular season with a visit to Defiance on Friday night. After that, SHU will play in the WHAC Tournament quarterfinals at home on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
