RIO GRANDE, Ohio -- The Siena Heights men's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at the Rio Grande Invitational on Friday night. The Saints fell to host RG, 3-2, and then lost to Oakland City, 3-0.

SHU will return to action Saturday with two more matches at the Rio Grande Invite.

Rio Grande 3, Siena Heights 2 (RG 22-25, 26-24, 25-23, 23-25, 16-14)

Daniel Rua had 10 kills and Jonathan Stovring put down nine for the Saints. Santiago Salazar added eight kills and nine digs.

Also for SHU, Dominic Reese smashed seven kills and seven aces. Zak Tucker made 37 assists and Payton Hastings totaled four blocks.

Bluefield 3, Siena Heights 0 (Bluefield 25-16, 25-19, 25-11)

Tucker had 12 assists and Francesc Baza totaled six kills.
