The SUNO Knights lost to the University of Mobile Rams on Friday August 23. Despite the 3-set loss freshman Taszia Adkinson led the way for the Lady Knights with a team-high 8 kills. The Knights impressed the crowd with their hustle plays, and they're never-give-up attitude.
While the Rams appeared to be the stronger team, the Knights proved that strength is a mindset. SUNO forced hitting errors and got key blocks to keep Mobile on their toes. The Rams would prevail, but the Knights left the fans wowed, and built their confidence - making note that they can truly compete with anyone.
The Knights finish the Ram Invitational on Saturday with games at 10 a.m. against Florida Memorial and former conference coach Nancy Sikobe, and 2 p.m. against Louisiana Christian.
