In a dominating performance, the SUNO Knights got the win in their HBCU Athletic Conference game against the Oakwood University Ambassadors, clinching a 24-7 victory in their firs game of a doubleheader.
The Knights, who now hold a strong season record of 6-1, dominated the field from the start. Key players including Kerrigan Edmondson, Miles Bowens, and Brandon Watson played pivotal roles in the victory. Edmondson, not only hit a homerun but also added a triple in the Knights win. Bowens contributed with five RBIs while Watson followed with three.
The game saw the Knights scoring exponentially, particularly in the second and third innings where they accumulated five runs each, and again in the seventh inning with seven runs. Chris Green, SUNO's starting pitcher, provided a strong foundation for the victory with his remarkable performance on the mound.
