(Huntington, IN)-- The Cleary Cougar men's basketball team was in Huntington, Indiana to play in the Ness Brothers Hall of Fame Classic against the Milligan Buffaloes, hosted by Huntington University Friday evening.
AJ Hess would score on the Cougars' first possession, and then the Cleary offense would struggle to put the ball in the basket. Milligan would quickly get their lead to double-digits, and held on to that lead for the rest of the game.
Bennie Crenshaw Jr. and Levi McKenzie both led Cleary with 10 points apiece, with McKenzie going 3-6 from behind the arc. AJ Hess would add 6 points and 6 rebounds, while Austin Santure was perfect from the floor to also add 6 points.
Cleary, now 0-1, will be back in action at approximately 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, when they take on the Indiana-Columbus Crimson Pride in game two of the Ness Bros. Classic.
