Rebman's Double Powers Women's Hoops Past CUAA

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Brooke Rebman had a double-double, finishing with 26 points and 10 rebounds, as the Siena Heights women's basketball team claimed a 56-39 win over WHAC opponent Concordia on Wednesday at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Rebman's point-total finished one shy short of her career-high 27, which she set earlier this season.

Lauren DeWolf added 11 points while leading rebounder Sarrinah Ajami pulled down 11 boards.

E'Anna Won had eight rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals. Jam Thigpen hauled down six rebounds.

SHU (16-10, 13-5) led the entire way after opening the game on a 9-0 run. Rebman had six points in that early stretch and totaled 18 in the first half.

After the Saints' initial surge, visiting Concordia pulled within 22-19 in the second quarter, but that was as small as the margin got.

Siena Heights outscored CUAA in all four quarters and held a 51-35 rebounding advantage.

The Saints will return to play on Tuesday, Feb. 18, with a 5:30 p.m. WHAC game at Cleary.
