Men's Basketball Drops Day Two of the RU Classic

WALESKA, Ga. (Nov. 2, 2024) - The Point University Men's Basketball team returned to the hardwood on the road against Reinhardt University for the second day of the RU Classic, where the Skyhawks fell to the Eagles 96-71.

The first half started with Reinhardt University grabbing an early lead with a 16-2 run. As the first half went on, the Skyhawks attempted to cut into the lead with shots made from Tanner Higgins, Jacob Crockett, Antwon Ferrell, and Vince Graves. At the end of the first half, the Eagles lead grew to 20 points 50-29. As the second half began, Reinhardt kept their foot on the gas and maintained the lead to end with a final score of 96-71.

Antwon Ferrell led the Skyhawks with 13 points. Tanner Higgins added 11 points, and Jacob Crockett scored 10 points.
