Gavin Mink got WBU on the board with an RBI single in the second inning.  Nicholas Jones added on with a solo homer in the third, and added the third Eagle run with a single in the fourth.

Trinity fought back with three runs in the top of the seventh to tie the game.  Morrison pitched a scoreless eighth to keep the game in reach for WBU, and Watkins walked it off on an infield hit with two outs.

Despite seven hits, the Eagles failed to push across any runs in game one and fell 2-0.

Nash Koczka threw six innings with no earned runs and 11 strikeouts on the mound.  Watkins and Connor Brinkley led the way at the plate with two hits each.

Williams combined to strand nine runners on base and was shutout to end the team's winning streak at six.
