Saints fall to Lourdes 0-3

The Holy Cross College Women's soccer team was back in action Saturday evening against Lourdes. Holy Cross would enter halftime behind 0-1. Holy Cross finished the game against Lourdes with a 0-3 loss. The Saints showcased their hard work keeping Lourdes to just 1 goal in the first half. Unfortunately, they could not hold off in the second half as the Lourdes score 2 more. The girls look foward to many great practices before conference play starts. Holy Cross is currently holding a record of 2-4-0 for the season.

COACH COMMENTS

"Tough game for us this past weekend. Really could not put it together playing a really good Lourdes team. One more game before conference play so hoping to have a solid performance. We are off all week/weekend and will use this time to focus on everything we need to work on. Hopefully this off week will also help those with knocks and have everyone back." -Duma Magagula

NEXT TIME OUT:

The Saints return to play on September 17th on the road against Saint Francis. Kickoff is set for 6:30pm.
