CANTON, Mo | The Mustangs sweep the Wildcats of Culver-Stockton in a Heart of America Athletic Conference matchup, 3-0.
The Mustangs opened the match with a dominating lead over the Wildcats 25-8 after recording 15 kills and a .520 hitting percentage. The rest of the match was in favor of the Mustangs as they took set two 25-21 on 14 kills with a .157 hitting percentage and set three 25-18 off ten kills and a .161 hitting percentage, leading to a Mustang victory of 3-0.
Mary Kate Bendlage was the offensive leader for the Mustangs as she had 14 kills and a .195 hitting percentage in the match, followed by Sam Schrage, who added seven kills with a .333 hitting percentage to help seal a win for the Mustangs. Hailey Hested was able to record 30 assists and 11 digs, with Rylie Mussman also adding 22 digs in the match.
