Waldorf Drops Two Games Against Bethel University

MCKENZIE, Tenn. - Waldorf Baseball was on the road this weekend to face off against the Bethel University Wildcats.
In Game 1, Bethel won over the Warriors 9-1. At the bottom of the first, Bethel would take the early lead and score two runs. Waldorf would respond and score one run by Anthony Hibl to make it a 2-1 Bethel game. Bethel scored seven more runs to take the win.
In Game 2, both teams played good defense, keeping each other from scoring in the first five innings. In the bottom of the sixth, Bethel scored one run. Waldorf would have a chance to score at the top of the seventh but was unsuccessful, allowing Bethel to take the win 1-0.
Waldorf will face Bethel in Day 2 of their weekend series on March 9.
