Baseball Drops Series Finale to No. 22 Concordia

Baseball concluded their four-game series with No. 22 Concordia on Sunday, dropping the final game, 10-0. The Bulldogs won the series, 3-1.

Concordia scored in six of the nine innings, maxing out with three in the sixth inning. They were able to utilize the wind to hit five home runs in the game, three solo and two two-run home runs.

Raidyn Steele went 5.2 innings, allowing six runs on eight hits and four walks while striking out seven. Ethan Merk threw 2.1 innings, allowing two runs on four hits with two strikeouts. Nicolas Yard allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit while striking out two.

Doane was limited to two hits in the game. Dane Kelsey had a double and Johnny Vulcano had an infield single.

Official game time was 2:28.

The Tigers will hit the road on Friday, March 28, when they travel to Sioux City, Iowa, to take on Briar Cliff at 1 PM.
