
Netters End Regular Season with Four-Set Loss at Missouri Valley
The Culver-Stockton women's volleyball team concluded the regular season with a 25-23, 23-25, 25-17, 25-20 loss to Missouri Valley College Saturday afternoon in Marshall, Mo.
The Wildcats, who lost five of their last six matches, finishes the regular season with a 15-15 overall record and a 7-11 mark in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
Abby Godwin nearly matched her career-high in kills Saturday, finishing with 14 terminations to lead the Wildcats. Godwin's career high is 15 kills against Bethany (Kan.) on Sept. 21.
Zoe Irvin ended Wirth nine kills and four other players registered six kills each as the Wildcats had 48 kills on 167 attempts. Sam Wright recorded 16 set assists to lead the Wildcats in that category.
Four different players reached double figures in digs with Kyla Ellis leading the way with 21. Lauren Bloom and Victoria Pollard garnered 13 and 12, respectively, while Wright finished with 10 digs.
The Wildcats totaled a season-high nine solo blocks in the match with Addie Force and Ashleigh Brawley recording three solo blocks each. Faith Hopgood had two solo blocks.
