SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Despite scoring twice in a 57-second span on Saturday, the Morningside University women's soccer team lost to Jamestown 5-2 at Elwood Olsen Stadium.

The two goals came in the 78th and 79th minute. Lisann Evert scored at the 77-minute, 38-second mark of the match, as Melissa Tsatiris had the assist.

Then, Ida Carlsson scored, and Tsatiris helped her get that goal, too.

Jamestown outshot the Mustangs 19-11, and seven of those Morningside shots were on goal.

Kyla Syverson saved eight Jamestown chances in 66-plus minutes in net.
