
Men's Basketball Loses to Grand View at Home
The Culver-Stockton College men's basketball team is still looking to find that first victory of 2025 after a 71-53 home loss to Grand View University at Charles Field House Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats shot just 32 percent in the opening half and trailed 35-20 at the intermission. C-SC rebounded to shoot 54 percent in the second half; however the Vikings kept the home team at an arm's length by draining 10 of their 11 second half free throws.
Connor Davis was the only Wildcat to reach double figures, garnering 21 points in the game. Davis also led the Wildcats with eight rebounds. Tai Walters-Whitaker just missed reaching double figures, totaling nine points while dishing out four assists.
C-SC is scheduled to travel to Oskaloosa, Iowa, this Wednesday, Jan. 29, to face William Penn University. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
