Women's Tennis Dominate with 7-0 Sweep of Tabor

Hillsboro, KS – The University of Saint Mary women's tennis team delivered a resounding performance by sweeping Tabor College by a decisive 7-0 margin. This dominant road victory brings the Spires' overall record to an even 5-5.

The Lady Spires established their dominance early by claiming all three doubles matches. The No. 1 duo of Rowen Wiemers and Tracy Llamas secured a 6-0 victory. The No. 2 pairing of Shannon Finn and Mia Rojas followed suit with a 6-0 win. The No. 3 team of Courtney Standley and Monse Guerrero-Chapula earned the final doubles point.

Carrying their momentum into singles play, the Lady Spires continued their strong showing, securing victories in all six matches. At No. 1 singles, Tracy Llamas delivered a decisive 6-0, 6-0 performance. Shannon Finn followed with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 2 spot.

Mia Rojas contributed another point for the Lady Spires with a strong 6-0, 6-0 showing at the No. 3 position. Monse Guerrero-Chapula secured a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 4 singles.

In the No. 5 singles match, Rowen Wiemers battled to a 6-0, 6-0 win. Courtney Standley capped off the clean sweep for the Lady Spires with a victory at the No. 6 spot.
