PIONEERS CRUISE TO NON-CONFERENCE WIN
PARAGOULD, AR - Crowley's Ridge College jumped out early and never trailed in a home non-conference 92-63 win over Boyce College. CRC took a 10 point lead after a Zak Brown basket put the Pioneers up 18-8 with 12;21 to play in the first half. The Pioneers would roll into the half up 45-18 after holding the Bulldogs to 29.2% shooting in the first half.
Zak Brown led CRC with 23 points in the win. Braxton Cousins added 12 points on the day.
CRC led by as much as 34 points late in the second half. The Pioneers scored 24 points off of 17 Boyce turnovers. CRC also added 18 second chance points after pulling down 19 offensive rebounds. CRC outrebounded Boyce 48 to 28 on the day.
The Pioneers improve to 6-4 on the season and will return to American Midwest Conference play as they host Mission University next Saturday at home.
