SWEDES FALL 1-0 TO LANCERS

Wichita, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Women's Soccer Team played host to the Mount Marty College Lancers in Wichita, Kan. at the Stryker Sports Complex.

Mount Marty went on the offensive attack early putting up a shot just four minutes into the contest. That shot was blocked by one of the Swedes' defenders. Throughout the first half, both teams combined to put up three shots, but none were on-goal. Both teams remained tied at the break 0-0.

The second half was slow as well as the first show of the half came in the 64^th minute as Bianca Carreon attempted to put one in the back of the net, but the shot was blocked by a Lancer defender before it had a chance to get there. Unfortunately for the Swedes, the Lancers would score on a shot that looked to be more of a cross that found its way into the goal in the 87^th minute. That would be enough as the Swedes would fall 1-0.

Mackenzie Nutter got the start and would record one save on the evening.
