CBC Drops Contest To William Woods

            Fulton, Mo. – Playing on the road for their third consecutive match, Central Baptist College volleyball was at Anderson Arena tonight for an American Midwest Conference match against the Owls of William Woods University. CBC (2-6, 2-1 AMC) dropped the match to WWU (14-10, 2-2 AMC) in straight sets by scores of 11-25, 14-25, and 11-25.

            Madeline Freeman led the way with seven kills while Brooke Schmitz had 12 assists and Kailee Walker made 15 digs. The Mustangs had 22 kills and hit .036 while the Owls had 45 kills and hit .460 with seven service aces compared to CBC's two.

            The Mustangs head to Nevada, Mo., on Saturday for the final match of their four-match AMC opening road trip when they take on the Cottey Comets. First serve from Hinkhouse Gymnasium is scheduled for 1 p.m.
