Falcons Conclude Season with Tough Loss to Pioneers at Nash Soccer Field

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The Florida College Falcons faced a challenging end to their soccer season on October 31, 2024, falling 1-5 against the Spartanburg Methodist Pioneers in a conference event held at Nash Soccer Field. The Falcons finished the season with a record of 0-12-1.

The game opened with Spartanburg Methodist taking a commanding lead. Camila Moscoso struck first for the Pioneers to up the score 1-0. The momentum was further carried by teammates CJ Hawkins and Caroline Taylor, whose impressive plays extended their lead. Despite trailing 0-3 at halftime, the Falcons showed unwavering spirit, thanks to a goal from Paula Rincon Carrillo in the second half. However, Spartanburg continued to dominate with two more goals from Kaylee Damsen and Andrea Tapia, sealing the victory.

Falcons' goalie Abigail Bradley, along with Spartanburg's Ava Wilson and Alexia Johnson, had noteworthy performances despite the high-scoring affair.
