Women's Soccer Drops One-Goal Decision in Missouri

Women's Soccer took on Culver-Stockton on Monday afternoon in Canton, Missouri. An early Wildcat goal in the second half was the difference in a 1-0 victory for CSC.

Culver-Stockton held control of the field for the majority of the game, out-shooting the Tigers 17-6. They also held a corner kick advantage of 10-0. Shots on-goal were 10-5.

In the 47' of play, the Wildcats were able to get a breakaway on the right side of the field and Lola Weise sent a pass forward to Alayna Chandler-Guti for the go-ahead goal.

Grayce Southern picked up nine saves in net for the Tigers. McKenna Rathbun and Savannah Franzoy had two shots on-goal apiece.

Doane will be back at home on Saturday, September 7, for a 5 PM match with McPherson.
