RICHMOND, Ind. - After a pair of River States Conference losses this week, the Indiana University East volleyball team bounced back with a 25-15, 19-25, 25-19, 25-16 victory over St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Saturday, Sept. 21.
With the win on Lingle Court, IU East is now 11-7 overall and 1-2 in the league, while the Pomeroys are 16-2, 0-2.
Reece Shirley led IU East with 13 kills as she added 15 assists and 13 digs.
Aubrey Miller was next at nine kills with Teah Barrett Matthews and Amyra Lockett contributing seven apiece.
Lauren Uhte topped the Red Wolves with 22 assists and three aces.
Summer Hendershot led the IU East defense with 16 digs as Lockett had five blocks and Payton Schultheis added three blocks.
The Red Wolves visit crosstown rival Earlham College on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The contest is scheduled for 7 p.m.
