Eagles Dominate the (RV) Rams of Texas Wesleyan

TEXARKANA, Texas- Texas A&M University-Texarkana baseball delivered a dominant 12-2 victory over Texas Wesleyan, showcasing strong performances both on the mound and at the plate. The Eagles used five pitchers in total, starting with Fabian Pokipala, who allowed just one run on five hits over 2 2/3 innings. Anthony Galindo provided stability in relief, throwing 3 1/3 scoreless innings to pick up the win. Adrian Fernandez, Mateo Terriquez, and Thomas Ruehle combined to close out the final inning, securing the convincing win.

The Eagles' offense was firing on all cylinders, led by Jose Parreno's perfect 4-for-4 day at the plate, which included a double and a triple. Austin Kerns added to the offensive surge by going 2-for-3 and hitting his team-leading sixth home run of the season. Jonathan Rios also had a strong performance, finishing 3-for-4 and adding key hits to keep the momentum going.

Texas A&M-Texarkana's balanced attack on both sides of the ball highlighted their depth and efficiency. The pitching staff's ability to limit Texas Wesleyan's scoring opportunities, combined with consistent production from the lineup, allowed the Eagles to control the game from start to finish.
