Men’s Volleyball Takes Down Trinity Christian in Four

PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. —  The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's volleyball team (3-11) picked up a road win at Trinity Christian College (2-12) on Wednesday, March 5.

MVNU dropped the first set 25-17 to the Trolls but bounced back strong the rest of the way. MVNU won the next three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-20, and 26-24 to secure the victory.

Noah Wineberg had a strong day on the attack, finishing the match with 11 kills and a .500 hitting percentage. Wineberg was also a force on defense, finishing with 9 block assists. Austin Kolaczkowski played a great all-around match, finishing with 30 assists, 13 digs, and 3 kills. Ethan Cline had 9 kills to go with 6 digs and 4 blocks, while Daniel Daly had 7 kills, 4 block assists, and 3 service aces. Jackson Bush made his presence felt defensively with 11 digs.

MVNU takes on Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Thursday, March 6. First serve is at 7:00 p.m.
