Women's Basketball traveled to Seward on Wednesday to take on Concordia. The Tigers dropped the contest, 71-61.
Concordia took a four point lead after 10 minutes but Doane answered back with the highest-scoring quarter for either team on the night with 21 points in the second quarter as the two teams were tied at the break, 37-37. The Bulldogs regained a four-point lead after the third quarter and was able to stretch the lead to 10 as Doane was held without a field goal over the last five minutes of play.
Macy Holtz led the Tigers with 14 points and six rebounds while Kaylee Klover finished with 10 points and six rebounds. Mak Hatcliff added 10 points and matched Holtz and Klover with three assists apiece.
Concordia received 14 points from Kristin Vieselmeyer with Juliana Jones posting 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Doane will close out the regular season on Saturday, February 22, when they host No. 24 Hastings at 2 PM. Senior Day recognition will take place following the game.
