Warriors Open Season With Victory Over Lions

San Dimas, CA - On Thursday evening, the Warriors kicked off their season with a 87-71 victory over the Lions from Bethesda University.  Four different Warriors scored in double figures as Vince Fier led the way with 22 points and 6 rebounds.  Austin Cook did a lot of everything, finishing with 21 points, 8 assists, 8 rebounds, and 5 steals.  Rico Hopping was prolific from the perimeter, finishing with 16 points.  Albert Matute finished with 12 points as well.  Dylan Cabs was everywhere for LPU, finishing with 9 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.

The Warriors travel West to Los Angeles on Monday to take on NCAA DI opponent, Loyola Marymount University at 7pm PST.
