Pilots Fall to Generals on the Road in Alexandria, 109-75

ALEXANDRIA, La. – The LSUS Pilots faced a tough road test on Saturday afternoon, falling to the LSUA Generals 109-75 at The Fort. Despite the setback, several Pilots turned in strong individual performances.
Hayden Brittingham and Melvion Flanagan paced the Pilots' offense, each tallying 18 points. Brittingham added six rebounds to his stat line, while Flanagan chipped in three boards. Taj Anderson also made an impact, scoring 15 points and pulling down four rebounds.
As a team, the Pilots shot 43.1 percent from the field, 26.3 percent from beyond the arc, and 70.3 percent from the free-throw line.
The Generals capitalized on their home-court advantage, with multiple players reaching double-digit scoring. Kashie Natt led LSUA with 16 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Jakemia Abney matched Natt's scoring total while also dishing out five assists and recording three steals. LSUA shot 48.6 percent from the field, 37.8 percent from three-point range, and 74.2 percent from the charity stripe.
The Pilots will look to bounce back on Tuesday, Jan. 7, when they return home to The Dock to face Jarvis Christian College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team as they seek to regain momentum.
