Going into his seventh year on the sidelines as Midland University’s Head Football Coach, Jeff Jamrog is a proven veteran of the college football ranks. Coach Jamrog has led the Warriors to five consecutive winning seasons and a 38-24 record. During his tenure, Midland is the only college football program in the state of Nebraska to have six consecutive winning seasons and their 38 wins are the most in the state of any college or university.

Jamrog has over three decades of collegiate coaching experience. He was the head coach at Minnesota State-Mankato from 2004-2007 and has had several assistant coaching positions around the country. He got his start at his alma mater, the University of Nebraska, in 1988 as a graduate assistant. He has served on the Huskers’ staff three different times, most recently from 2008 to 2014 as the Director of Operations.

At the University of Nebraska, Jamrog took a lead role in the resurgence of the historically significant walk-on program. A former walk-on who earned a scholarship spot with the Huskers, he was able to recruit homegrown talent that contributed to Nebraska’s success.

Jamrog has an impressive history of being involved with football programs that have seen dramatic turnarounds. In 2004, his first year at Minnesota State University-Mankato, Jamrog guided the team to its first winning season since 1994. The team boasted a six-game improvement in victories, which was not only a school record but tied for the fifth-largest single-season jump in Division II history.
