MNU Declaws Wildcats in Straight Sets

The Culver-Stockton College women's volleyball team opened homecoming weekend with a 25-13, 25-11, 25-20 loss to MidAmerica Nazarene University Friday night at Charles Field House.

The Pioneers doubled up the Wildcats in kills, 46-23, despite having seven fewer attempts. MNU also recorded 41 digs to the Wildcats' 21. The Pioneers hit at .352 clip while C-SC struggles to a miniscule .021 percent.

Four different players had four kills each to lead the Wildcat attack. Addie Force, Zoe Irvin, Ashleigh Brawley and Victoria Pollard all recorded four terminations with Brawley having the best attack percentage at .250.

The Wildcats, now 14-12 overall and 6-8 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, are slated to host Baker University Saturday night at Charles Field House. It is senior night and the Wildcats will honor their six seniors before the match. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
