Men's Basketball Falters in Loss to IU Kokomo

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia Men's Basketball team stumbled in the loss to IU Kokomo at home following the win over IU Columbus. The 96-71 loss pushed the Bearcats down to 3-8 on the year and 1-2 in RSC play.

The Bearcats struggled from the field in the first half shooting just 30% from the field as the Cougars took a 20-point lead going into half.

BU shot better in the second half at a 45% caliber despite the unproductiveness in the first. Unfortunately, the Bearcats saw too large of a deficit as the Cougars took the 96-71 road win.

Damian Garcia had 24 points, five rebounds, and four assists in the effort while Linkin Lockhart added 20 points with four threes off the bench.

The Bearcats will travel to New Albany this Saturday to take on the Grenadiers of IU Southeast at 12pm CT.
