Volleyball made their way to Fremont on Saturday to take on No. 20 Midland. The Warriors' blocking game gave the Tigers a few struggles as Midland won in straight sets, 25-17, 25-19, and 25-20.
Taylor Sluka led the Tigers with nine kills with Natalie Wood adding eight. The Tigers finished with 28 kills on the afternoon but finished with a -.010 attack percentage and Midland posted 14.0 team blocks. Camdyn Carpenter dished out 22 assists and collected both of the team's ace serves.
Chloe Rose led the defense with 10 digs. MacKenzie Painter, Lillian Parolek, and Grace Zeier added six apiece. Doane finished with 3.0 team blocks. Sluka and Hilary Hupp were in on two blocks apiece.
Doane will be back at home on Wednesday, September 25, to take on No. 4 Concordia at 7:30 PM.
