Waldorf Falls to Doane University, 71-30

Crete, IA- The Waldorf Warriors suffered a tough loss to Doane University on Saturday, as they were defeated 71-30 in a one-sided contest that left the team searching for answers.
The Warriors had difficulty finding its rhythm, particularly in the first half, where they were limited to just 12 points. The Warriors' offense struggled with turnovers and missed opportunities.
The second half saw some flashes of life from the Warriors, but they were unable to chip away at the significant deficit. The Warriors finished the game with just 30 points, a season-low, and could not recover from a 24-point halftime deficit.
Head coach Shawn Chaffin acknowledged his team's struggles after the game. "We didn't execute the way we know we can, and that hurt us today." Chaffin said. "We'll take this as a learning experience and focus on improving moving forward."
Waldorf remains focused on their upcoming opponent, the Concordia Bulldogs (NE) Next Saturday. The GPAC contest will be on December 14th at 2:00pm in the Hanson Fieldhouse.
