Women's Soccer: IU East 3, IU Columbus 0

COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Indiana University East women's soccer team won its second straight match with a 3-0 at IU Columbus on Saturday, Oct. 12.

With the River States Conference victory at Richard J. Wigh Soccer Center, the Red Wolves are now IU East is 3-7-3 overall and 3-1-1 in the league. IU Columbus is 2-8-1 and 0-5.

Morgan Grudich gave the Red Wolves the lead in the first half with an unassisted goal at 9:01.

Late in the second period IU East put the game away as Denise Davalos and Rylee Meyer added goals for the Red Wolves.

IU East goalkeeper Kylie O'Leary recorded a save for the Red Wolves.

Next up for the Red Wolves is a conference contest against St. Mary-of-the-Woods College on Thursday, Oct. 25. The match at Centerville High School begins at 5 p.m.
