Men's Basketball falls to Paine in Non-Conference Matchup

WEST POINT, Ga. (Nov. 9, 2024)- The Point University Men's basketball team returned to the home court in a non-conference matchup against Paine College where the Skyhawks fell to the Lions 83-75.

The first half started with good competition, with scoring runs from both teams. The Lions kept the Skyhawks at bay, keeping the lead all the way until halftime, 52-42. The Lions remained in control in the second half, even with a valiant effort from Antwon Ferrell. The Lions held the Skyhawks at bay until the end, with a final score of 83-75.

Antwon Ferrell filled the stat sheet with 24 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Brandon Kincaid followed with a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Jacob Crockett added 12 points.
