Lady Cougars Rake Away Maple Leafs in Dominant Sweep

GOSHEN, Ind. - The No. 16 Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team (17-1, 5-1) faced off against the Goshen College Maple Leafs (6-16, 1-5) at Gunden Gymnasium on Saturday, September 21.

The Lady Cougars swiftly returned to the win column, sweeping the Maple Leafs 3-0 with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, and a closely contested 25-23 in the third.

Lyssi Snouffer – 14 kills and 14 digs

Jaelyn Tang – 12 digs and 3 service aces

Libby Evanshine – 9 kills and 2 blocks

Abbey Niemesh – 6 kills and 3 blocks

 

What's Next:

The Lady Cougars will battle the No. 19 Grace College Lancers in a conference contest at Ariel Arena on Wednesday, September 25, with the first serve at 7:00 p.m.
