Crowley's Ridge- 61

Harris-Stowe- 73

St. Louis, MO- Harris-Stowe State Univesity got the last laugh of the season as the Hornets took round two on the court, besting the Pioneers on the road. Back on November, 23rd in the Carter Activities Center, the Pioneers rallied in the final quarter of the matchup against the Hornets to run away with an 18-point win, but yesterday's contest bitterly saw the Pioneers have the uno reverse effect with the Hornets successfully defending their home court with a 12-point gap. In the matchup, CRC won the opening quarter, coming out with a 4-point lead before seeing the Hornets produce three consecutive 20-point efforts and surpassing the Pioneers. The Lady Pioneers out-performed the Hornets from behind the arc, shooting 37.5% (9-24), but with CRC fumbling 21 turnovers compared to HSSU's 9, the matchup slipped the Pioneers. Freshman Kynslee Ward led the offense with 14 points from the bench. Kiyuana Foster followed with 12 points and a team-high 9 rebounds. Sophomore Brooklyn Kearbey added 10 points in the loss.

Up Next: CRC will return home to host Stephens College on Friday, January 31st at 5:30 PM in the Carter Activities Center. #GOPIONEERS
