The Waldorf Warriors secured a thrilling 74-61 victory over Judson in an exciting matchup, with stellar performances from Brooke Dial, Edosa Ogbemudia, and Camryn McQuery leading the way. The win was especially meaningful for Waldorf, as it was "Field Trip Day" at the game, with dozens of enthusiastic Forest City elementary school students in the stands, eagerly watching their local heroes in action.
The Warriors wasted no time showcasing their talent, delivering a high-energy performance from start to finish. Starting with Dial, who led Waldorf with a remarkable 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists. Her all-around play set the tone for the team, and her ability to score from multiple areas on the court kept the Judson defense on its heels.

The versatile forward was a force on both ends of the floor, making key plays when the Warriors needed them most. McQuery, known for her hustle and defensive tenacity, had a strong game with 4 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals. Her ability to disrupt the opposition and create fast-break opportunities was invaluable for Waldorf throughout the game.
But beyond the stats and the win, head coach Shawn Chaffin emphasized the importance of putting on a show for the young fans in the crowd.
"It was Field Trip Day for the Forest City Elementary School fans, and we knew the kids were excited to be here," Chaffin said. "We had some of our best stretches of the season this afternoon. Our bench gave us a nice lift, in key stretches of the game. I'm proud of how our girls stepped up today and delivered in front of such a great crowd."
The Warriors, now riding a wave of confidence after this victory, will look to carry this momentum forward as they prepare for their upcoming game matchup before the Holiday break. They prepare for their last non-conference matchup of the season versus Martin Luther on Thursday, December 19th at 4:00pm in the Hanson Fieldhouse.
