Volleyball Goes Four Sets in Yankton

Volleyball traveled to Yankton, S.D., to take on Mount Marty in GPAC action on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers dropped the match in four sets, 17-25, 25-20, 10-25, and 24-26.
Natalie Wood led the Tigers with 11 kills in the match while Kayden Schumacher finished with 10 kills. Camdyn Carpenter dished out 35 assists on Doane's 38 team kills. Kate Roseland led the team with two ace serves.
Defensively, Grace Zeier posted a match-high 23 digs with Addison Harris adding 11 digs and Chloe Rose finishing with 10. Doane finished the match with 6.0 team blocks. Hilary Hupp led the way with four total blocks.
Doane will make the home debut on Wednesday, September 18, when they host Saint Mary (Neb.) at 7:30 PM.
