Springfield, Mo. – Playing on the road for the first time since Jan. 25, Central Baptist College women's basketball took on the Patriots of Mission University tonight at W.E. Dowell Fieldhouse. CBC (9-11, 7-9 AMC) never led, falling to MU (16-4, 13-3 AMC) 85-62.
Raigan Head led the way for CBC with 20 points while Tamara Christmas added 11, including a perfect 5-5 at the free throw line. CBC won the battle at the free throw line, making 17 to just seven for the Patriots and also won in points in the paint 20-18.
CBC returns home on Saturday for Senior Day against Harris-Stowe State. Tipoff from Reddin Fieldhouse will be at 1 p.m. and festivities will follow the women's contest.
