Columbia, Mo. – Playing on the road for the second time in three days, Central Baptist College women's basketball took on the first place Columbia Cougars tonight in an American Midwest Conference tilt in the Arena of Southwell Complex. CBC (7-7, 5-5 AMC) couldn't recover from a slow start and lost to CC (15-0, 9-0 AMC) 91-48.
Raigan Head led the way for CBC with 15 points and eight rebounds. CBC did win the turnover battle, committing only 12 to forcing 13, but they couldn't stop a potent Cougar attack that shot 44 percent from the field and made 15 threes.
CBC heads a few miles down the road in Columbia on Saturday when they take on Stephens. Tip off from Silverthorne Arena is scheduled for 1 p.m.
