
Point University Falls to UT Southern in Key Conference Challenge
WEST POINT, Ga. (Jan. 23rd, 2025) - The Point University Men's basketball team returned to the court for a Southern States Athletic Conference matchup against The University of Tennessee Southern that ended with the Skyhawks falling to the Firehawks with a final score of 75-62.
The Skyhawks entered the half trailing by six points, with a halftime score of Point 30 - UT Southern 36, which hinted at the challenges they faced on the court. Despite their best efforts to rally in the second half, the Firehawks maintained their lead, securing a 13-point victory by the final buzzer.
