Women's Soccer Edged by Concordia

Women's Soccer hosted Concordia on Wednesday evening in Crete. The Tigers struck first but Concordia scored the final two goals in a 2-1 decision.

Doane jumped out in front in the 15' as McKenna Rathbun connected a pass to Celeste Galvan for a goal. The Tigers looked to take a two-goal lead on a Rathbun shot but the ball was ruled to not have crossed the goal line as the Bulldog keeper pulled the ball back in play, leaving Doane up by one.

Concordia tied the game in the 38' and took the lead in the 77'. Doane finished with an 11-8 shot advantage with a 7-6 shots on-goal advantage.

The Tigers will travel to Northwestern on Saturday, October 19. Game time was switched earlier this week to a 5 PM start.
