Mustangs Drop Contest To Pioneers

            Paragould, Ark. – Playing their third consecutive American Midwest Conference match tonight, Central Baptist College volleyball was at the Carter Activities Center for their first ever conference tilt against Crowley's Ridge College and the 40th meeting all-time between the two schools. CBC (6-9, 4-3 AMC) fell in straight sets to CRC (6-11, 2-4 AMC) by scores of 14-25, 25-27, and 20-25.

            Madeline Freeman led the way in kills with nine while Brooke Schmitz and Freeman were the co-assist leaders with 12 each and Kailee Walker paced the team in digs with 18 while Freeman added 13 and Kiana Chapa had 10. The Mustangs had 31 kills and hit .036 with two service aces while the Pioneers had 39 kills, hit .197 and had nine service aces.

            CBC is back on the road for the final time in the AMC on Thursday when they head to the Southerland Mabee Center in Walnut Ridge for a matchup with the Williams Baptist Eagles. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
