Batesville, Ark. – Playing for the first time in a week, Central Baptist College women's soccer was at Huser Field today for a clash with the Lyon College Scots. CBC (0-3-1) fought hard and got a couple opportunities to score, but ultimately finished tied 0-0 with Lyon (1-3-1).
Rebecca Vandenburg made her second start in goal and had two saves. Kitanna Richards and Julissa Arevalo made attempts toward goal but both were saved.
The Mustangs return to the pitch at Burns Park on Thursday when they take on the Eagles of University of the Ozarks. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
